February Round Up

We are only half way through the month and yet, so much has happened already! We kicked off our Ukulele Tour where we delivered free ukulele workshops at Abbey View Primary Academy, Oakridge School, Manor Farm Infant School and Lee Common School.

It has been a huge success so far and we are really looking forward to visiting even more schools throughout the rest of this term. We still have some availability leading up to Easter, please get in touch if you would like to book your free session!

Also, earlier this month, Helen accompanied the children at Hughenden Primary School to the Young Voices concert at Wembley Stadium. The children have been rehearsing the songs for months leading up to the big performance, and wow! What a performance it was!! It was a spectacular event, with even more concerts happening around the country. Young Voices have been inspiring music around the globe for nearly 30 years now. You can read more about their Foundation and the work they do with schools and choirs around the globe here.

On our Facebook page, there is a small snippet of the performance. Hughenden School are on the top left!

With schools now on holiday for the half term, we have prepared some exciting workshops for players of all ages and abilities to take part in. We have 3 workshops running on Wednesday 19th February - for more information on how to book yourself onto these workshops, please send us an email.

Thanks for reading! And happy strumming :-)
