Meet the Team
Helen Sumner
Founder & Principal
Guitar and Ukulele
Helen started learning to play classical guitar in a caravan in a back garden a long time ago. Her teacher smoked a pipe, and her overwhelming memory of those lessons is a metal foot stool and tobacco smoke! Things have changed since then, and now, with two (nearly) grown up daughters and a very understanding husband, she has the most perfect job in the world -
running Little Strummers!
Aside from work, Helen enjoys travel, shopping, reading and spending time with her family.
