Aural Skills Workshops at Half Term

The December music exams are fast approaching,

and the Half Term break is an ideal time to get on top of your aural skills.

​

Aural accounts for 10% of the overall marks in your exam.

With good preparation, these are easy marks to get,

and could even be the difference between a merit and a distinction!

​

Aural tests have a vital connection to music-making -

they are examining your listening skills which are essential for good musicianship.

​

Our Half Term workshops, all to be held at our West Wycombe studios, are as follows:

Monday 26th October

• 10am - 11am - Trinity Initial Grade

• 10am - 11am - Trinity Grade 6

• 11.10am - 12.10pm - Trinity Grade 1

• 12:40pm - 1:40pm - Trinity Grade 2

• 1.50pm - 2.50pm - Trinity Grade 3

• 3.20pm - 4.20pm - Trinity Grade 4

• 4.30pm - 5.30pm - Trinity Grade 5

Wednesday 28th October 

• 10am - 11am - Trinity Grade 5

• 11.10am - 12.10pm - Trinity Grade 4

• 12:40pm - 1:40pm - Trinity Grade 3

• 1.50pm - 2.50pm - Trinity Grade 2

• 3.20pm - 4.20pm - Trinity Grade 1

Friday 30th October

Other sessions and times are also available on request.

The sessions will be in small groups (maximum 5 students), all socially distanced,

well ventilated and in full compliance with all Covid-19 regulations.

​

The session costs £10 for an hour.
