March Roundup
As the Spring term is almost coming to a close, we would like to thank everyone for your support you have given to Little Strummers. In strange times like these, it's reassuring to know that our community is as strong as it is, and continues to support small local businesses like ours.
We have been busy working with Hughenden Primary School rehearsing for their Energise 2020 performance at the Wycombe Swan. Although the performance has been cancelled due to recent events, we have had such fun learning all the songs and we look forward to being able to perform these to our smaller school community in the coming weeks.
Some of our teachers have been continuing our Ukulele Tour 2020 and we have visited five more schools since February; including the 'Come and Play Preschool' in Hazlemere.
Children as young as two years old (!!!) were learning to strum along to songs, play softly and loudly and play to a beat. We were very impressed by these little ones!
We are really excited to start working with more groups and schools over the course of this year; introducing ukulele clubs and guitar lessons for more children across Bucks. If you or your school are interested in working with us, we would love to hear from you! You can get in touch and register your interest by completing our 'Registration Form' on our website.
We have also just issued our first public announcement regarding Covid-19 and you can read more about how Little Strummers are responding to this in our letter - click here to read.
We are sending you all healthy, well wishes for the months ahead. Please check in with us here, for more updates and music fun. Happy strumming :-)
