Music & Drama Award Finalist!

We are very excited and proud to share with you all some amazing news that landed in our inbox this week...

In December last year, we came across the Music & Drama awards website and heard they were asking for nominations in each of their categories.

We submitted our entry for the 'Excellence in Primary/Early Years' category, sharing all the exciting work we had done at the beginning of 2020 with the Ukulele Tour.

We visited over 10 Primary Schools and Early Years settings in the Spring Term (2020) and delivered free ukulele classes to almost 500 children. The feedback was incredible and the children's enjoyment was fantastic to see.

And then, an email pops into the Little Strummers inbox saying...

"You have been shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Primary/Early Years’ category in the Music and Drama Education Awards 2021."

After a lot of happy dancing and frantic texting (!!!), we couldn't wait to share the news with you all! The virtual awards evening is taking place on 24th March later this year. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the result!
