Music Events You Won't Want to Miss This Year
Considering most of the events we often look forward to every year, had a spanner thrown in the works due to Covid-19, 2020 still has lots to offer!
We've compiled a few of the best music events (socially distanced, of course) happening in and around Buckinghamshire from September onwards. Web links are provided to find out more details.
Picnic in the Park - Higgingson Park, Marlow
24th - 27th September
Also known as the very popular 'Pub in the Park', this year they have changed the event slightly to accommodate new social distancing measures. A jam packed weekend of music, comedy and amazing food.
Some names that will be appearing in the line up are Rick Astley, Dara O'Briain and Josh Widdicombe. Tickets are still available to book via the link above.
Alex Horne and the Horne Section - Wycombe Swan Theatre
30th September, 8pm
Alex Horne, who is well known for his appearances on the TV show 'Taskmaster', will be performing with his band at the Wycombe Swan Theatre later this month.
Unruly, ridiculous and surprisingly satisfying, The Horne Section combine music and comedy in a typically unpredictable way, blending stupid songs with a carnival atmosphere and plenty of puns.
Raver Tots - Old Town Hall, High Wycombe
11th October, 1.30pm
Raver Tots is the UK’s biggest award winning rave for families / festival brand where kids and parents can get on the dance floor and party together.
There are never ending moments to engage kids and parents alike, and above all, huge dance spaces where you can hear the nation’s biggest DJ’s playing the best in all forms of dance music.
If you do decide to attend any of these events, have a fantastic time! It may even inspire you to learn a new musical instrument or start singing and musical theatre classes.
Little Strummers are passionate about teaching awesome music lessons and making it affordable for everyone to get involved.
